今週もPHPのフレームワーク、CodeIgniterのお話です。
今日はEmailクラスについてです。
CodeIgniterには便利なEmailクラスがありますが、デフォルトのソ
ースのままでは、日本語のメールを送信する場合に文字化けが発生
してしまいます。
そのため、日本語メールを送信するためにちょっとした工夫が必要
になります。
早速簡単なサンプルを作ってみます。
作業の前にCodeIgniterをダウンロードして配置します。
日本語パックも今回は必須です。
/system/library/Email.php を上書きします。
1.まずはメール用の定義ファイルを用意しておきます。

configフォルダ内にemail.phpを作ると、送信の前に初期化する必
要がなくなります。
プロトコルとパスはメールサーバーの環境によって異なるので、こ
の部分は必要に応じて変更してください。
ワードラップは英文には必要ですが、日本語はいらないのでFALSE
にしておきます。
2.次にコントローラ部に次のソースを書きます。

メールアドレスのところは、各自で任意で設定してください。
それでは、ファイルをアップしてブラウザでアクセスします。
「送信完了」の文字が出た後にメールチェック...
おお～っ！メールが届きました！
しかし...なにやらわけのわからない文字化けメール...。
なので、送信する前に文字エンコードを設定する必要があります。
UTF-8でプログラムを書いている場合は、UTF-8からISO-2022-JPに
文字コードを変更して、メールを送信します。
送信する前に次の３行を追加します。
